BE Love ~ Love Is Everything
“...let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3:18

I have recently been obsessed with Love.  The thought of Love.  The feelings of Love.  Love in action.  Love from Jesus.  God’s Love. My Love.  It dawned on me - EVERYTHING is LOVE. I mean everything:

• Your tears of joy and sorrow
• Your hopes and dreams
• When the underdog wins the game
• When the bullied boy finds a friend
• When someone has courage to play with the bullied boy
• When the lonely child receives a hug
• Getting and giving a second chance
• Your pet(s)
• The sunrise, sunset, snow, rain, birds, flowers
• A movie, a book, a play
• Your neighbor, your friends, your family
• Your spouse, your parent, an acquaintance
  
  Do you ever stop to think that our ups/downs/highs/lows are because of love or lack of it?

Why do we make love so complicated?    Kim Calisi of the longtime Love Is...cartoon fame makes it so simple. I know sometimes it’s not, but honestly, if we are to BE LOVE, then do it in action and truth...and love becomes EVERYTHING...

Being intentional
Going out of your way
Calling first
Apologizing
Champagne and chocolate
Looking nice just for you
Giving a hug
No expectation
Love is . . .all you need.

Weekly Challenge:  BE LOVE. EACH DAY. Love is....?
Who:  Decide who you can Love today
What: Open your heart and time to make a difference in someone’s life with the gift of love
Where: Text, phone call, email, mail, in person...whatever works for you.
When: Each day, every day, everywhere
Why: Because LOVE IS EVERYTHING. Love changes EVERYTHING.
How: through actions and truth, praise and thanksgiving, deed and sacrifice. (what will you do?)
Keep it simple.

Prayer and Meditation
Dear Heavenly Father,  I know I’m designed to Be Love, not just be loved.  Jesus is Love.  Therefore, I am LOVE in ACTION.  Help me take my mind off of myself and think of another each day, every day, and change their lives by simple forms of LOVE.    Because LOVE IS EVERYTHING.  Thank you for loving me unconditionally and providing me strength and courage to BE LOVE even when I don't want to or don’t feel love.  To be loved is to love first.  You loved me first.
I am designed to be LOVE.
Amen.

Praying we all fill the world with LOVE today and everyday.
BECAUSE LOVE IS EVERYTHING.
